Ashley Emrys

Ashley Emrys is a (L)LMSW believes that everyone has a story to tell and she is thrilled to be chosen to hear yours. Through a variety of therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to
talk (CBT/DBT), play, creative, expressive, and mindfulness therapies. Ashley believes in helping clients develop and strengthen their personal attributes from a place of empowerment,
kindness, patience, and grace. Ashley would be honored to walk alongside you as you work to find your way. Healing takes courage; and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to
find it.Ashley has 13 years of experience working with children, adults, and families in residential placement, schools, and in private practice. Ashley holds a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Western Illinois University as well as a Masters Degrees in Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago (Jane Addams) and in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University.

Ashley specializes in parent-child relationships, anxiety disorders, PTSD, grief and complex grief, behavioral issues/behavior change, Autism, and executive function disorders.In her personal life Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian and their two young children as well as reading, watching movies, and enjoying the outdoors.
